❌Things that didn’t work out
- 32-inch Curved monitor: while they look cool in pictures, they didn’t work out well. Due to the 32-inch length, it reduces pixel density, also the mouse travel distance gets longer, it gets a bit inefficient to work.
- Automatic standing desk: it’s good to have the option to stand and work, it’s definitely healthy. However, I hardly use the standing feature. If you really want to stand desk and the budget is tight, it’s best to get a manual one.
- Color of the standing desk: I’m a big fan of black, however black always made the dust visible, which needed constant cleaning. White is a good idea, however, that can get dirty soon. But I believe the best balance is a wood-like desk.
